CANINE GOOD
CITIZEN

AKC CGC
The CGC Program is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs, including both purebred and mixed breed dogs, are welcome to participate in the AKC's Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Program. There is no age limit for the CGC test. A dog is never too old to be a good citizen.

Medina Kennel Club provides CGC training to owners and dogs who need to learn a few more skills before taking the test. This class can also be used to prepare for therapy dog testing - just inform the instructor as to what therapy group you will be testing with.

Cost: $90 for a 6 week session with testing on last class.
Don't need the class? CGC Testing only is $15.00!
